In connection with a change in the hydrological regime in terms of an increase in the frequency of storms of 1% coverage and an increase in the maximum wave parameters, technical documentation was developed and the protective structure of berths 1k, 2k was reconstructed.
The object is a construction of a slope profile 260 meters long and 3.6 - 14.7 meters deep at the structure, made of tetrapods weighing 1.5 tons laid on a stone bed.
The structural elements of the coastal protection structure were reinforced; tetrapods weighing 3 tons, laid on a stone bed of 5 to 650 kg stone with a crushed stone counter filter, were used as the main structural element. To redistribute the mass of installed tetrapods, which exceeds the design one, Triton mattresses, 10x3x0.3 meters in size, filled with stone, are installed on a slope on a bed of 100-300 kg of stone. The existing wave-protection wall, in order to prevent overlapping waves of increasing sizes, was to be built up along the entire length of the wall.
