The purpose of these pre-design developments was to create a 340-meter berthing front within the allocated cadastral areas for the operation of a berthing complex intended for transshipment of grain and general cargo without the use of spacers.
Five design options were proposed: trestle type, pier structures, concrete pads and two mixed types of structures. Each type provides the possibility of simultaneous transshipment of grain and general types of cargo.
For the construction of the structure without the complete decommissioning of the berth, three start-up complexes are allocated, each of which provides the possibility of transshipment of both target types of cargo.
